Teaching is something that I am most passionate about. It is actually the only job I have ever seen myself doing. I am the happiest and most comfortable up in front of a class or tutoring people one-on-one. I am an experienced teacher that wants to help students improve their language skills. I have been a teacher for over ten years and have taught in many diverse backgrounds. I began tutoring when I was studying to be a teacher in secondary English. The tutoring experiences helped me kindle my love for teaching, especially one-on-one. After I earned my Bachelor of English Education, I went back to my hometown to refine my education in writing and English literature. I then went on to earn my Master in Literature. While earning my master's degree, I worked in a lot of study groups. I graduated with honors and began teaching at a small college in Michigan. All of these experiences and others have provided me with a skill set that is conducive to effective tutoring. I look forward to sharing my knowledge with so many new students. When I am not in the classroom, you can find me reading books, listening to music, and playing board games.
